The Big Shave:
My response towards this short film is that it is quite funny and humourus, but i think that other people may find it disguisting and disturbing. It is vey graphic, with blood which is very effective, also it is very clever. I like how when he has no hair left, he keeps going over the same place and isn't affected by the blood he is causing, rushing out from his face.
The director of the film is 'Martin Scorsese and his intentions for this film was to have half the people watching it, to find it disturbing, and the other half to find it humourus. Martin wants reactions and he knows he will get them, but he also knew that he would get different types of reaction for this short film.
This short film is also name 'viet 67' because it was done around the time the vietnam war was going on, and where people would harm themselves. It was also produced in New Yorks 'Tisch School', and the music 'I can't get started' by Bunny Berigan.
